Last Saturday was something new for me. I got to wear the Vampire Knight Night Class uniform in a convention! It was an amazing feeling ^___^ Think about being stars just for a day. Like for example, as soon as we got out of the taxi, a group of people already asked to have their pic taken with us. Hahaha. Coolness. Yay!
We actually didn't portray any specific students since we don't have enough budget to buy wigs and other stuffs [except Setti who was obviously portraying Rima although her hair wasn't dyed orange]. It was our first time to cosplay too [again, with the exception of Setti and Ian]! So forgive our unprofessionalism.
I badly want more pictures but then, our "photographer" got lazy and did not come. :( So, we do not have a complete shot with other groups (T_T)
Ooooh. Speaking of Jin Joson and Team Tux...
I was so excited. I was expressing how much I want to see him inside the cab we were riding on the way. I was hoping I could see him there. Anyway, it was fate. I saw him and Team Tuxedo performing the Naruto Skit during the group cosplay competition! It turned out that they joined! Sugoi! (@_@). It was actually my first time to see Jin, but the moment I heard the screaming fangirls as soon as he got on stage, I knew it was definitely HIM.
So, I was in a "kyaa~" mood for seeing Jin until Ian [Setti's BF] destroyed everything for me. If Ian-chan did not clarify Jin's gender then probably right now, I would be still crush-ing on a girl. That's uhh..gross? Haha. But if it's Jin, then...umm..okay. Nevermind.
It was a big shock for me when I found out he is a SHE. Jin is actually a cross-dresser! And I have been looking at
Atleast I'm not alone. There are so many Jin fans out there who are still in the state of confusion.
b. Jin is a girl. Nejin is her twin sister.
c. Jin and Nejin is one person, a HE.
d. Jin and Nejin is one person, a SHE.
[It was an amazing photomanipulation. You can't even tell.] Come on. Nejin is obviously Jin's alter ego. The girly cosplayer behind the crossdresser.^^ So okay, I've decided to remain a fan. I still think she's soooo kakkoi as a guy. Darn. LOL. But yeah, Jin Joson is a girl and she is an amazing crossdresser ^^
P.S.
I just have to post this to prove that Jin is uber hot as a guy!

I find it so weird that some girls are disappointed when they find out Jin is really a girl. She never said she was a guy...she just seems to enjoy crossplay (this is the correct term -- calling someone a crossdresser suggests that the person is transgendered or homo, fyi) I can't find the twin thing anymore but it just struck me as she was talking about the two sides of her personality.
I feel like those girls who are resentful about the truth are a bunch of shallow airheads who did not really appreciate the cosplay and are no better than guys who objectify women. The good work they produce be damned...all that matters is that they can get their little fantasies.
oh. i just noticed this comment today. anyway, thanks. i'll use the term "crossplayer" from now on. i think it's more appropriate that way too~ ^^
yeah. i sometimes get annoyed with those fangirls. i mean, so jin is a crossplayer, but they haven't even noticed -- that's basically the art of it!
Haha I so love ate Jin!
Her blogs and journals saved me from boredom and loneliness last vacation. Never fails to amuse me.
I must say that Jin Joson has the talent to cosplay both female and male anime characters. Not everyone is gifted to successfully portray both gender in the cosplay world.
Hands down, though I've seen her twice only, (MIBF 2010 and Toycon 2011) I admire her and stalk her blog posts because she deserves it. :D
I've honestly thought Jin was a girl all along but just didn't want people to get so heart-stricken by the fact she's a girl who loves to cosplay as male characters.
But truthfully I was very confused before when she introduced Nejin. So decided that if she wanted to be assumed to be male then I don't see any problem with that. I love her cosplays in general, whether male or female characters uwu
And learning even more that she's a girl makes me admire her even more so as another girl coz I assume it's never an easy job to crossplay let alone just cosplay in general lol
