LMAO. I attended
ASEC's 2nd General Assembly a while ago, of course alone. I have been in ASEC for almost half a year now but still I haven't been really active. Now come to think of it, I volunteered as a Project Manager but my project has yet to be assigned.
Anyway, a little background about ASEC. ASEC means
Ateneo Student Exchange Council. One of it's primary role is to entertain [tour, chat with, befriend, etc.] the foreign exchange students studying in the Ateneo and let them have the most out of their stay in the Philippines.
So, there were some exchange students from
Japan who came. And there was this dude who's name is
Yuya. Sorry to disappoint you but he's not as cute as Tego is. LOL.
My first reaction was,
"Hi Yuya! Do you know Yuya Tegoshi?"He was like, "Umm. Who is he? A broadcaster?"
Huh?! Hahaha. "No, he's a singer. Do you know
NEWS?"
"Ooooh. New-su! So who do you like?"
"Yamapi."
"A lot of Filipino girls likes
Yamapi and
Matsumoto..."
"..
Jun! Yah.," I interrupted.
Oh well, I can't help being a fangirl with real Jap people! ^__^
Naubos lahat ng Japanese ko!!!
I was telling Yuya that I learned
Nihonggo during summer classes. But then, when I began to speak, he doesn't seem to understand at all. [It's definitely my weird Fil-Jap accent.]
I also met Yoko. She's my favorite Jap person in ASEC! She's super friendly! Plus, it's amazing how she can speak in Filipino fluently. Therefore, we had an awesome conversion although I wasn't able to test my Nihonggo skills again. O_o
"Mag-usap tayo sa Tagalog," she said. *elaine shock*
It was amazing.
"Wow! You can definitely speak in Tagalog!"
"Oo pero konti lang."
She can really converse! OMG. I wanna say "sugoi!," but I don't wanna embarrass myself with those big Jap crowd.
She said she studied Filipino language in Japan before going here. Her teacher is also a Filipino. Sugoi ne~
Ofcourse, when I found out she was from Osaka, I immediately asked.
"Ooooh! Osaka! So you know Nishikido Ryo?" LMAO.
"Yeah. I think he is good looking."
"But my ichiban is Yamapi."
"Oooh. Yamapi ne?~"
I just can't help it. ^__^
P.S.
I also met Ionne, ionnesaysrawr of LJ. I was able to say hi, but unfortunately, no conversation :(
Oh well. Looking forward to meet you again dear ^^
